Sending eNews

The Send eNews section allows you to send your Web Page as a eMail to your subscriber base. Users which are subscribed will receive a HTML email contains the Web Page. Your Web Page can be a public Web Page any where on the site or a private Linked Page created only for an eNews bulletin. You can also send your Web Page as an email to any of your Member Resource Groups.

To Send eNews Follow these Steps:
1) Set up your Web page as usual. Keep layout formating simple as there many email client software packages in usage and there is no guarantee of their correct rendering of your web page. 'View Full Web Page' to ensure your web page and any images are correct.

2) Select the Send eNews Tab.

3) Configure your optiions according to the items on Send eNews Tab

4) You are ready to send a test email to yourself. Therefore, enter your email address in 'Email this page test to'.

5) If you want to email to your Subscriber base click the button 'Send Subscribers Test', or if you want to email to one of your Members Resource Groups base click the button 'Send Groups Test'.

A window will pop up with the simulation email send which will notify you of how many users will be sent an email and your settings.

6) Check your email to ensure you received it correctly and confirm the formating and wording if all correct. Check any additional settings on the email such as the unsubscribe link and the link to this page to make sure that are all correct. Ensure images can be referenced correctly in the email.

7) If you are happy all is correct you are ready to send your bulk email. To do this just click either of the button 'Send to Subscribers' or 'Send to Group'.

Once again a pop up window will show you the details related to the bulk email send including listing each recipient name being sent to. Individual emails are sent to each user.

8) When completed close the pop up window and don't forget to SAVE the current web page.

Please note that the default From address that your email will be sent from is support@yarratech.com. This is related the system security and licensing. An email address of your choice related to your domain name can be used, however, there are extra administration and license fees required. Please contact us for further information.
