send eNews Tab
When sending the Web Page via email there are a number of other options which can auto-matically be included in the eMail being sent to your Subscriber base. The options on the Send eNews Tab are as follows:
| eNewsletter option | Select yes to Turn on the eNews options for this Web Page | |
| eNews Subject | This is the Subject line which will be send to your users | |
| Email this page test to | You should always send a test eNews to yourself or someone else to review the formating and final text before sending a bulk eNews. Put your eMail address in here and then click 'Save and Send Test' to receive this page in your eMail. Confirm all is set-up correctly before sending to any of your subscribers | |
| Link/Images Domain | When you create a Web Page in WebBench the images are saved on the server under your Domain name. When the eNews is sent to subscribers the HTML is sent but the images are not embedded in the contents, rather then are retrieved from the server via your Domain name. This field must contain your Domain name or the Domain name from where the images are stored. This item should be pre-configured with your default in WebBench and may rarely need to be changed. | |
| Included link to this WebPage | Select 'Yes' to include a link to this Web Page in the email. This allows users who cannot read the HTML to return to your Web site page to read it online. | |
| Unsubscriber link | You should always contain an Un-subscribe link for users who no longer which to receive eNews items from you. Put the link to your Un-subscribe form in here. This value may be set-up as a default location of Web Page on your web site. | |
| Include contact details | Select 'Yes' to provide further Contact Us or your Company Address or Phone, etc in the eNews email automatically. This will be added to the bottom of the eMail below the Unsubscribe link. | |
| Contact details | Put your Contact Details in here to be provided at the Footer of the eNews | |
| Send to ENews Category | You can send eNews to All subscribers or only selected categories (if your site has selected Categories already set-up. | |
| Update records with send date | Select 'Yes' to update each subscriber record with the date stamp and link as a record that they have been sent this bulk eNews email | |
| Document was last sent | For your information a date stamp showing the last time this Web Page for sent via eNews | |
