News Subscriptions

As part of the WebBench Newsletter module your site will contain the ability to easily manage subscription life cycle.

1) Your site is set up with a Subscription Form - here user can register their basic details as a subscriber. (They can select from multiple categories if you site is setup for different types of subscriptions).

2) You will be notified of new subscribers via email.

3) New subscribers will be automatically setup in WebBench and you can manage them in WebBench under 'eNews By'

4) You can email your subscribers any time from any web page. You can bulk email to all or to only selected categories. See Sending eNews

5) Your bulk email will contain an Unsubscribe link for your users to click if they wish to unsubscribe. Click this link takes them back to your web site Unsubscribe Form. Their email address and subscription category will automatically be filled in for them. They just need to enter their confirmation name and click ok to unsubscribe.

6) You will be notified of users who wish to unsubscribe. You then need to preview their details in Webbench - eNews By - Unsubscribes view. Edit their details and amend the 'UnSubscribe? Status' from 'Inbox - unsubscribe requested' to 'outbox - unsubscribe user' and Save & Close.

This system will them remove them from the subscriptions. Note that the user can be unsubscribed from all subscription categories or only the category they have requested, if you site supports multiple subscription categories.
