Meta-tags are data associated with the Web page which describes that web page. Meta-Tags are read by Search Engines and the Browser. Different Search engines will read different meta-tags and use them to help make your Web page more easily found in searches.
You don't need to change these, as the meta-tags will load with default information from the configuration lists. However, you can tailor this information for a web page if you require.
