Language Tab - create a multi-lingual Webpage

The Language Tab is used to create multilingual Web Pages i.e., Web Pages using languages other then English. The WebBench Website can support all languages, however the language to be used must be configured in the website before it can be used. To add a language configuration, please contact WebBench ITS.

The Language Tab fields are:

Page Language Select the Page Language here. The default is EnglishEN. Only Languages pre-configured for usage will appear.
Page Available on Language Site Select the Page Language Site for which this Web Page will appear on. English language pages will appear under the English web site framework, but if you have used another language, then select that Language Site here. Only the respective Language pages will appear under multilingual web sites. For example, only Chinese languages pages appear under the Chinese Language Web site.
Show links to Language Page(s) Select Yes to display a Link to the multilingual web site on your current web page. The Language Link appears on the top header on the web page immediately left of Contact Us. The Language Link will take you back to the Country Home Page of the multilingual Web site or from the multilingual Web site back to the Country English Home Page. (Unless you use the Language Link 1 or 2 fields - see below. )
Language Link 1 If you use the Language Link then you can specify the Language Link to go directly to the Multilingual translated Web page of your choice. 1. Select the Language Site that you are Linking to and for which you have already created the translated local language web page. 2. Use the Link to page to select the page to Link to. 3. Use Reverse Link to automatically set the Language Link 1 on the multilingual page to come back to the current English page.
Language Link 2 Language Link 2 provides the facility to Link to a second language of your choice if such a multilingual web site has been set-up for your country. It works the same way as Language Link 1 providing a secondary link.
