1.4 Edit Web Page

To Open a web page, please click on its Page Subject/Page Title.

1.4.1 Please click on 'Sample Test Page' to open this page

This page will open in Read display mode.

1.4.2 Click the "Edit Document" button to open this Web page in Edit mode.

The page contains two sections. Section one contains tabs to control all your Web Page properties and tools.

The next section contains a Rich Text Editor Control to allow you to directly edit your web page content.

1.4.3 Use the Rich Text Editor to amend the page content - for example, please type some text in the table, replace or add a paragraph.  You can type 'This is my first example of using WebBench.  I am the Web Master.', or anything you like.

1.4.4 Click 'Save & Close' to save your changes and return to Read mode.

Your changes will be saved on the web site. You can immediately view exactly how your web page will appear on the web site in read mode - it shows just web page controls.

1.4.5 Click 'View Full Web Page' to view your updates live on the site.

'View Full Web Page' is located at the top and this will open a new window with your updates within the complete web site framework.

Congratulations ! You have just succesfully updated a web page using WebBench.
